About

Creating Care & Facilitating Flow

Marissa Moses

Self Care for Performers is a project created from inspiration…

  • Teaching and leading in the Performing Arts for 20+ years.

  • Practicing as a State Certified bodyworker for 10+ years.

  • Growing up in a complex creative home with parents with their own performance traumas and deep desire to have their artistic signature at the center of their lives.

  • Recovery from my own complex creative wounds and performance-pleaser coping patterns.

My work is…

  • Deconstructive by nature

  • Honest by design

  • Relational by practice

Emphasizing safety, inner strength, and being true to oneself.

Vision

Create heart-centered lasting change and evolution within the body’s inner creative culture, one artist at a time.

Mission

To cultivate inner and outer care, flow, and ease of connection within the body’s system and relational availability.

Why Self-Care for Performers?

Self Care for Performers is an embodied practice for meeting the “you” under your performance patterns with love, care, and an encouraging witness.

This project is for anyone whose body has been at the receiving end of performance abuse and complex creative trauma.

While my practice is born from my own experiences in the performing arts, it is a fully integrative approach to healing the performance addiction that can show up in personal and professional dynamics.
